Meet my Muse(s)

So, book two of the Jaded Hearts Club series is almost ready to go. It's been a slow going road, but Only Her Heart is finally ready for consumption. Aside from the technical disaster of having my laptop crash in the middle of a hard core editing session, another reason for the drudgery was my muse. Jade. You see, Jade and I had conflicting ideas about how the book should progress, and who she would end up with in the end. Finally we came to a place of reasonable agreement, and I was able to move on with the story. I'd like to formally introduce you to Jade, as well as Julian and John, and give you an idea of why these individuals sparked my creative juices!

Jade

I chose Chrishell Stubs for a few reasons. First is the Caribbean connection. Jade is of West Indian (Jamaica) heritage and Chrishell is also Caribbean (Turks and Caicos).  The expressions and vibe that she gives off in her pics, really spoke to me and screamed JADE!!  She can give you that 'good girl' vibe, but she can turn it up and give you 'naughty' too. Andddd, her eyes are GORG!
Her expression in this picture totally encompasses Jade's vulnerability. In this pose there is confidence, and there is also a a hint of innocence that I feel relates to Jade. Jade tries to hide behind a tough shell, and layers of self denial. Underneath it all she is scared of love and starved for attention. Enter Julian...

Julian

Why did I choose Cristiano Renaldo as my muse for Julian? Why not! The spiky hair, killer expressions, and his sense of style???Really, I feel like he represents Julian's Intensity and sexual prowess, but there is also a charming, boyish quality to him as well. This proves to be a lethal combination for Jade who is frightened, at first, by his intense (some say aggressive) attraction, but is put at ease by his playful sense of humor. She is hungry for attention like this and he provides it in spades. 
                                                  Oh, and did I forget to mention his sexiness?

John

Steve Boyd. Do I really need to explain? I mean, LOOK at him. But... in the spirit of fairness, I will. In Jaded Hearts, I described John as a mix between Clark Kent and David Beckham.

John is a laid back, funny, and handsome babe. He easily moves from the friend zone to the love zone with Jade, because not only does he provide her the comfort of a friend, but he adds some sizzle to her world too.
